Amanda Mitchell, originally from Tampa, Florida, began her formal dance training at the age of 2. After graduating high school, Amanda went on to receive her BFA in Commercial Dance from Pace University in May 2018. Since moving to New York, Amanda has had the opportunity to work with prestigious choreographers such as Dee Caspary, Rhonda Miller, Tiler Peck, Robbie Fairchild, and Martha Nichols, just to name a few. She also had the honor of performing original Bob Fosse pieces, Sing Sing Sing (Trumpet Solo) and Mexican Shuffle, restaged by Scott Jovovich. She has attended numerous summer programs to expand her training including The Juilliard School Intensive, Complexions Contemporary Ballet, and Alonzo King Lines Contemporary Ballet. Amanda most recently filmed an episode of the Amazon Prime series, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, and will appear in Season 2 of the series.
