Brian Poniatowski

Brian Poniatowski grew up in Poland, where he began dancing at age 14. He received his dance education from Caro Dance Company in Siedlce. In 2006, he won IDO world championships in Boston with a jazz solo in the adult category. In 2007 he won IDO world championships in Riesa, Germany. In 2010, he graduated and became a jazz teacher and choreographer. In 2012, Brian Poniatowski won the Polish edition of So You Think You Can Dance, Season 7. He then went on to become a choreographer of SYTYCD Poland Seasons 8 and 9. In 2015, he moved to Hong Kong where he was hired as a choreographer and placed on faculty for the Red Shoe Dance Company. Besides winning SYTYCD Poland Brian’s professional career includes being a soloist in Caro dance Theatre, a soloist on the international tour of “Rock Loves Chopin” and he was the face of an Axe deodorant commercial. His passion has led him across the world, to Los Angeles, Warsaw, Copenhagen, Hong Kong and currently New York City.
